Bug Fix: Search Filters in the POS

POS search parameters set within Order Manager now apply to all pages of your search when you are searching orders, whether marked for pickup, shipping or on hold.

We have eliminated a bug that previously caused parameters of Order Manager searches to clear themselves each time you clicked Next Page. This saves extra time and steps when reviewing your open orders!

Bug Fix: POS Tips in Moneris Payment Gateway

Wineries in Canada using the Moneris payment gateway can now accept tips using WineDirect's POS. We have eliminated a bug that previously caused the tip screen to error out.

This should make the checkout process more seamless for your customers, and ensure that your team members' tips are accurately captured!

Bug Fix: iOS 11.4.1 and MagTek iDynamo / cDynamo credit card swipers

Apple has recently released a software update iOS 11.4.1

With this new version, Apple has resolved a bug that caused intermittent connection issues with MagTek's iDynamo and cDynamo swipe credit card readers. If you use either of these in conjunction with your POS iPad or iPhone, we recommend updating these devices.

Bug Fix: Changes to Discount Columns in Quickbooks V2 Report

In order to facilitate Quickbooks reporting via Transaction Pro Importer, we have made two changes to the columns included in our Quickbooks V2 Report:

  1. Column AO has been renamed Item Discount (instead of Discount) and provides the discount amount PER ITEM. 

  2. We have added a new column (Column BB) titled Discount. This column provides the TOTAL discount applied across the entire order.

This change enables you to report on your discounts in Quickbooks using Transaction Pro Importer.

If you are using Transaction Pro Importer to upload data into Quickbooks, we recommend you adjust your mapping settings to take advantage of this bug fix.

Bug Fix: Price Column in Quickbooks V2 Report

In Quickbooks V2 Report, the Price column (Column AN) will now display the Original Price instead of Price after discounts. This bug fix applies to WineDirect's New Reports ONLY. Our old reports interface has not changed.

If you are using Transaction Pro Importer to upload data into Quickbooks, we recommend you adjust your Transaction Pro Importer mapping to accomodate for this bug fix. 

If you still need the Price column to display Price AFTER discount, please continue to use our old reports by clicking the Back to Old Reports button at the top of the reports page.

Bug Fix: Inventory Pools and Wine Club Orders

We've eliminated two bugs related to wine club orders and inventory:

  1. When you edit an individual club order, the order will pull from the inventory pool you selected for that club run, instead of from your default website inventory pool.
  2. If you use Welcome Packages for your wine club, when you sign up a new member in the tasting room, the Welcome Package order will pull from the inventory pool specified for the POS profile, instead of from your default inventory pool.

We hope this makes your inventory management easier!

Credit Card Updater Notes Fix

Now, when you look through customer notes, only the most recent credit card updater note (one in total) will display on your contact's record. This one note will keep you in the know for credit card update statuses, but not block your access to other important customer notes.

Refunding or Cancelling a PayPal Order

Cancelling an order in WineDirect paid for using PayPal will trigger a refund to be performed on PayPal’s end automatically. You no longer need to log in to PayPal to perform that extra step - it is done automatically for you.

Title Case Instead of ALL CAPS on Credit Card Swipes

When you swipe a credit card at your point of sale in your tasting room, the customer name is now put into your CRM in title case (no more ALL CAPS!)
