Improvements to POS Performance
We understand that having a blazing fast point of sale system in your tasting room is critical and we want you to know we’re working around the clock to address the reliability problems some of you have encountered on our POS in recent weeks.
Here's what we've done so far:
- Optimized customer search: when you search for a customer on the POS you will get the same results with less load on the servers
- Optimized order listing: when you list your orders on the Order Manager it will render faster with less load on the servers
- Removed legacy pieces of code that will improve Internet functionality overall by preventing unnecessary server calls that slow down the system
Coming soon is a new retry system and in the next 60 days we will also be implementing better caching around products, product images and coupons which will reduce server calls and wireless reliance, improving speed and performance.
