POS Email Marketing Opt-In

Experience a faster opt-in process for customers that want to hear from you! During the point of sale checkout process, you are asked to enter a email address in order to send an email receipt to the customer. When entering a customer's email address, you will now notice an opt-in checkbox underneath, allowing a one-step opt-in for email marketing communications. 

This will help you add customers to your marketing communications list while staying compliant. Customers who verbally opt-in to receiving marketing emails in your tasting room will have their contact record updated to a 'Single Opt-In' email status in the WineDirect CRM. The customer will also receive a 'Double Opt-In' email, allowing them to confirm their email address, giving you easier compliance to anti-spam standards in different countries.

New! Recipes With Products Report

The 'Recipes with Product' report provides you with a list of your recipes that include a Product as one of its ingredients. You can find 'Recipes With Products’ in the Product category in the Reports tab of your admin panel.

Sales Summary Report

We have now added the Sales Summary Report to the enhanced reports interface within the admin panel.

Update to Whitelisted URLs

We’ve been working hard on POS stability improvements and we’re making changes to improve POS performance. These new changes will increase capacity 3x - offering you a more seamless POS experience.

If you currently whitelist domains on your network, you’ll need to update your whitelisted URLs to include these new URLs.

You can also sign up at the bottom of that page for updates, to be kept in the loop for any changes.

Bug Fix: Partial Refunds

Starting today, custom taxes will refund the correct percentage to both GST and PST, for partial refunds.

The updated calculation performed while doing a partial refund will now match the tax percentages exactly, for a more accurate partial refund.

Details

Loyalty Points is a paid add-on feature that can be used by wineries of all sizes; the pricing simply fluctuates based on the number of contacts you have in your Admin Panel CRM at the time of billing.

Pricing

For Plus and Enterprise clients there is no additional cost to use Loyalty Points. Lite customers will be billed monthly a fee of $159/month.

Important note regarding new reports flowing into Quickbooks

When we updated our reports in August, we made some updates that affected your Quickbooks integrations. These changes require you to adjust your mapping settings in order to work correctly. Until you have made these changes, please continue to use our old reports. Old reports will continue to be available for six months, giving you ample time to make these updates.

Here is what changed specifically

Action needed

Your winery may have some workarounds in place, specifically, mapping that was implemented (either by you or a consultant). Until you have adjusted your mapping for enhanced reports to flow correctly into Quickbooks, you should continue to use old reports and NOT use the new version of the Quickbooks v2 report until your Transaction Pro Importer has been updated.  To update your mapping, you'll want to complete this mapping yourself, or hire a consultant that is comfortable with Quickbooks via Transaction Pro Importer.
