mPOP Printer and Cash Drawer

We’ve rolled out a new hardware compatibility for the mPOP, a point of purchase device that allows you to combine your cash drawer and printer to free up space at your register.

The mPOP uses Bluetooth for easy set up so you can focus more on selling wine to your customers and less time troubleshooting.

Linked to WineDirect, all you have to do is pair the mPOP with the tablet or phone you’re using for your POS and you’ll be ready to start processing transactions. Just a heads up, since this printer uses Bluetooth technology you can only pair one device at a time.

What is the mPOP?

The mPOP is a mobile point of purchase solution that combines a printer and cash drawer, and connects your WineDirect compatible tablet or phone to the device using Bluetooth.

Why are we adding compatibility for the mPOP to our POS?

The mPOP is a compact device that reduces the need for multiple hardware pieces at your register. It is simple to setup and use so you can focus on serving your customers.

How do I buy the mPOP?

We suggest Barcode Discount if you’re shipping to the US or Canada, and Bluebird Hardware if you’re shipping to Australia. The mPOP is also available at Staples and several other online retailers. Be sure to purchase the model that does NOT include the barcode scanner, as you will still need to use your existing Vin65 compatible scanner.

Will my existing barcode scanner work with the mPOP?

Yes. Be careful when you purchase the mPOP, as some models come with a barcode scanner. You will want to purchase the model that does not come with the barcode scanner.

Can I pair more than one tablet or phone to the mPOP at a time?

No. Unfortunately this is a limitation of Bluetooth technology and you can only have one device paired to the mPOP at a time.
