Adding a Favicon and Apple Touch Icon

Favicon

It is considered best practice to include a favicon.ico file that is 16 x 16 pixels. A great tool for creating these is an online app called http://www.favicon.cc/

Include it in the header of your layouts like this:

<link rel="Shortcut Icon" href="/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon">

Apple Touch Icon

It is also advised that you create an Apple Touch icon which is a 114 x 114 pixel png file.

Include it in the header of your layouts like this:
